Tsumura weight???

How are the weights of the tsumura bars? I know I've seen weights posted just can't find them.

Do you mean the lightweight bars or their solid bars? @Redbull661 has the info somewheres around here. As I recall the lightweight bars (if that's what you want to know about) are lighter than the sugihara bars. They're stiffer than the Oregon bars. I'm not sure how they compare to the stihl lightweight bars. What I do remember is that after testing dozens of bars that Mr. Mad-scientist661 seemed to find that the tsumara light and tough were the "best" of the bunch. Hopefully I'm not putting words in his mouth...

Really any info on them. On my stihls I'll run stihl bars, they hold up well. On my husqvarna saws I'm just looking for an alternative to oregon.

Not to speak for him but iirc the Stihl lightweights were the lightest. But obviously Stihl is proud of them $$

He did not post the weight of a Stihl 20" E bar (the ES is much heavier).

These are the #s I got (using my postage scale) for 20" .050 bars:

Sugi 2 lb 3.1 oz
Stihl E bar 2 lb 4.6 oz.

I have hefted 362s at the store with both 20" E and 20" ES bars on them, both Ver I & II. The ES bars make them very nose heavy.

I would rather have a Ver I with a E bar than a Ver II with an ES.

Also, a 20" E bar has a list price of only $45.-

Theirs not to many things I wouldn't do but I just couldn't do that. I'll check out @Redbull661 thread.

I like running the stihl bars on huskies. Only have to buy one mount. I have a lightly used 20 and 24 total/tsumura regular weight bars in husky mount is make a deal on. They never get used and I only have one husky
