I like those too, especially the design of the self propelling mechanism. However 4hp is pretty anemic. My Duraforce is 6.5. I may try to put the reed valve Toro Snowblower motor in it the next time I need a short block. It's 7hp.

My son works at the local scrap yard on saturday mornings, he doesn't get paid he strips their lawnmowers and gets to keep any good parts he can use on his mowers as payment . Anyway one of these Suzuki two strokes came in and we got it home and it started and ran strong, I'm thinking I might keep it. Does anyone know a site sponsor or ebay seller that sells rings etc or know of a site with the specs for these things?

Its on a tiny little base and looks like a t bucket with a big block , theres a rover self drive with a poked suzuki on it at the scrap yard and I'm thinking of putting it on that.

The neighbours daughter and her husband split up and he left her a mower she couldn't get to run. I gave her a briggs and stratton quantum. She gave me the old mower, turns out it was a suzuki on an alloy base, just needed new gas to run. Very stoked, particularly since I have a spare motor for it.

We have these motors on rover mowers in Australia, best mowers going. I have a side discharge and a catcher mower.

Yeah most of them are on rovers here, the guys who mow lawns commercially love them. Mine is ex hire, the hire companies seem to be huge fans too.

I think I just got one of these in a small Toro snowblower. 4.5hp. It's a lot smoother and refined compared to the 3hp Tecumseh 2cycle rig that I traded in.
