yup, I'll keep everything right here through the build and videos as well. Ordered some reproduction decals today. I have a feeling I may still need to get a few smalls. We'll see as things go back together. Started cleaning the plastics that i'm hoping to refurbish. Split the case today. That M'fer was on there tighter than dick's hat band.looking great would love to see end product.
I was very happy to see it was a KS. Thanks for the production info. I had no idea they were THAT rare on these. Damnit now I want to keep it. LolRich that cylinder is a prettty rare one, looks to be s KS, which was only made in 1992. All the rest were Mahle, I have 11-12 cylinders bit.only 1 is a KS. keep that ring around the decomp also a 1 yr option.

Interested in what you find works best. I have a 272 top cover in need of some TLC and I’ve never had much luck polishing the plastic once the oxidation is sanded off.I'm trying a few different degreasers to draw out the oil and grease. Steel wool, automotive rubbing compound etc. Denim and cotton wheels to polish. Looks a lot better but haven't found the right combination of elbow grease and product
