Well studs I reckon the verdicts in, just spoke with the guy I got it from and these are his words, "Yeah, it used to drop a bumper crop of nuts every other year fer many years yung feller...tastiest dern nuts this side of my scrotum???"!!!!!:hambre::hambre:WTH???:cbiggrin::facepalm::drooling::drooling::drooling::drooling::eeek:

Did you notice anything different when you cut it up? Tough to cross cut? Harder on saw?

No, not tough on the saw @ all.
Of course when I threw a bit on splitter it was moderately challenging, yet it's a 9 Ton Electric splitter so kinda par for the course.
What little I have of it will be split/stacked in the garage & get mixed in with locust, hedge, oak, and shag bark...no biggie.
Appreciate all the feedback fellows!
