It was an impressive saw and thanks for letting me run it.

I just wish I hadn't run it right after Shaun's new 395. [emoji41]
Yea no problem, it was nice meeting and chatting a little with you. But yea probably didn’t give you a real good feel for it running Shauns then run mine right after it.

Finally a cool down around here . I ran the 592xp this morning . You guys have to get one of these . They are so comfortable to run verses a 390xp and 395xp. I had a 32" bar on this morning .

A little break from the heat wave around here this morning . I got a chance to try out the 592xp with a 36" 404 full Comp full Chisel set up . I made about 20 big cuts with the saw . Wow , Shaun really did a excellent job porting this saw . For you guys that have never run 404 , it can really rob power from a saw . This is not the case with the 592xp Shaun built for me . It pulled the chain effortlessly !

I'll try to get a video next time I'm out there . BTW I have the utmost respect for the guys in the pnw that have to carry those big saws up and down those mountains . I carried that saw about 600 yards from my truck to get to that tree . Cannon Bars aren't light for you guys that never handled one .

Update on the saw . I've had zero issues with the saw . The anti vib is great , very smooth ! IMHO the auto tune is excellent ! It was about a 35 degree different since the last time I ran saw . The saw started on the 4th pull and ran flawlessly . The auto tune adjusts instantly like the 572s . The 592xp likes to loaded hard . I had 36"-404- fc-fc on this morning . I would highly recommend people looking for a 90cc saw to take a hard look at the 592xp . Then send it to one of many great porters on this site .

I can’t complain about it in stock form, best 90cc saw I’ve used. Porting is rare in AU’ especially for work saws, I know nobody running ported saws for work, but for me I have to like a saw in stock trim before I’d bother spending the extra coin. I’d luv a run on a 592 ported to feel the difference

I spoke with @Stump Shot yesterday evening about my 592xp. He's going to be porting one for a customer . I've ran the saw for the last 14 months and have had zero problems with it. I know there's been problems with a fuel line and the case breaking on the top felling dog mount. I guess I'm lucky, I've had no problems. The saw always starts and runs great! Shaun did a great job with it!!!! I ran it this morning cutting up a tree for a coworkers aunt. I had a 36" 404 f-c f-c on and thesaw has plenty of power with the bar buried. Once again I would highly recommend getting one and sending it to any of the great porter's on this site.

That is why you have to choose a very reputable builder from the dirty dozen.

Steve at the @Stump Shot factory is as detailed as Shaun is here with his builds.

If one of these very reputable builders build it, they went through it with a very fine tooth comb.

Every penny spent is worth it, these guys know their craft very well and want you to be a trouble free satisfied customer.

Here’s a late additional piece of information to add to exhaust modifiers. My 592xp dropped the threaded section that the spark arrester screw screws in to. If your going to not use the spark screen then make sure either a screw is put back in to stop vibrations and heat causing its fatigue and falling off or take it out all together. Could have caused engine failure had it fell in the exhaust port when on its tail putting a chain back on, only a slight rattle was heard😳 word of caution for those whom care.👍🪓
Normally, modify the existing muffler.

Have had mine since first offered in Oz by husky direct, 3/2021, it had the kinked hose straight out of the box, not seen in pre-delivery!?! Have heard about that mount breaking and the newer strengthened case I’ve seen, I run the bigger dogs Westcoast oem kit and haven’t had issues but then I don’t use it for an axe either, runs really well, mostly 36” duralite or 28” duralite, I don’t like the xtough light it came with a little 24” blued the bar end rails in less than a tank, starts really easy runs hard best balanced saw I’ve ever used and great on fuel compared to 660 box. Have had the threaded insert where the spark arrester screw goes in fall in to exhaust, husky replaced exhaust and top cover that was burnt. Other than that same here no problems. Word of advice- run 220 weight bar oil not 150. And I’d like to see a far bigger filter husky it’s too small and a pig to clean in the field, more flat sides thanks. Love this saw💪🪓👌

I’ve been running an oiled foam filter over the original, it works good but needs regular/twice a day changes or it sucks the sawdust through it. The filter is simply too small for the amount of suction. Am aware of these but not seen in Au. Does this fit under the stock cover? How long does it take to choke it? In Hardwood or softwood?

Yes , under the stock cover , ur probably running an open version filter assuming ? that’s why ur cleaning it so often? , It lasts , all depends on the wood ur cutting , but it takes awhile before cleaning and recoiling the filter , the breather holes help air flow to with the frozskin covers ,
