010/011/012 have needle roller main bearings, right?

Crankshaft endplay to be expected then.

It also has thrust washers external to the bearing as compared to the 020/200T where they are part of the bearing . Probably has some end play .I have no idea how much unless I dig through a zillion service manuals to find out

Old Remingtons have .025”-.035” and they run fine.

It is disconcerting to watch the crank jump back and forth. [emoji33]

In looking at the IPL's of all three models it would seem to me that with the thrust washer up against the cage it would tend to lessen side thrust .By comparison with the 200's with the washer inside the cage it would be more prevalent . I have an 011 but I've never needed to tear it down so I don't know from personal experience .

Distributor shims for AC Delco work to get it down to .005”-.008” on Little Red Homies. [emoji106]

Just finished this build and I’m having trouble maintaining rpms through the entire cut. I was looking for some help solving the problem. Thanks in advance.

I’ve done a full finger, wrist, forearm and elbow port job on her. Ceramic bearing with polished full circular crank. She’s starts out with high rpms in the cut then fall off to almost nothing at the end????

011/012 carb throttle cable question.

There are SIX holes in the throttle shaft belcrank. Which one does the cable hook to?

I tried the second from front and the throttle was held open at rest.
I tried the third and I don’t get WOT pulling the trigger.

Well, it's not one of the visible holes in this pic from the service manual and there's no specific detail given (that I could find) for the correct one. I have a couple of these saws and can check tomorrow if you don't have it figured out by then. My recollection is it's the 'bottom' one.

Third from front works best. Something in the trigger/safety lever is wonky. Maybe just dirt.

I only did one for a guy several years ago .Cable was funky and surprisingly the dealer had one in stock . I think I might have rebuilt the carb also .
On a side note I also rebuilt the carb on a J-red 525 for him, only one I've ever seen .Impressive too for 49 cc's

Raised from the dead. 011 evilbay carcass for a crankcase assembly plus all the gingerbread and top end from an 012.

The original 012 was roached from moisture in the crankcase. [emoji13]
