How is this compared to my 401 as far as power and weight?
Also word on the street is that you have talked some of the Queen's subjects out of some 9010's if this is more than a rumor and are going to have one to sell, please PM me the information
Thanks, Matt...

The outboard clutch is 100% of the reasons I went ahead and got the 421 instead of waiting for this saw. I was really hoping for a mini 6100
How do you feel about it now? Is it a mini 6100? Or did it fall short? My small saw is the DCS 401 and I like it a lot more than I thought I would when I bought it new and it's been the perfect trainer for my boy's. But is kind of dated, well not really I'm just trying to find excuses to buy something new...

I don't think the 421 is a mini 6100. It is a good little saw but not a mini 6100. Great little firewood/ tear it up saw.

Do you know what the advertised weight and horsepower is? Do you like it enough to buy another if you needed one? Is the weight close enough to EA5000 (5105) to just skip the 40cc class and go directly to the 50cc saw for limbing? Like I said I have a Makita DCS401 and have grown pretty fond of it. It has 2.3 hp and weighs 8lb13oz I believe and 39cc's. I'm a curious feller ain't I, actually I've used quite a few of your videos (and other people's) to help make decisions in the past. So I appreciate your time and effort! Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming... Matt

The 411 has the same cylinder as the 401 different clutch it is offered with the .325 clutch drum and it is probably fuelled up a little and a lot rarer too find

Got this one on the way to me. NOS 6800i. Brand new, never had fuel in it. Will be the pride of my Dolly collection.View attachment 75642

You do know that is a very heavy awkward hard to start peace of Friday afternoon engineering this forum has plenty of people who offer a recycling service for this type of stuff:);)
