I would totally be game for a 24 and a 28 if whoever sold this one wants to sell a couple more.

Utah, unfortunately.....
The obvious reason is that you can change pitch without changing the bar and I do believe they roll smoother and a little faster, they take the beauty of the sprocket tip but no meshing of tooth to sprocket required
Thank you. I suspected it had something to do with pitch. So ideally a longer roller nose would be better in .063 gauge?

Just like a normal bar, whatever is going to carry the most oil, but I don't think I've seen a roller tip that was stamped with a specific gage

No money was exchanged in this acquisition. The shop wear I work a few days a week used to be a McCulloch dealer back in the day.

That's awesome, the closest mac dealer to me that I've been able to find is hour and a half away and he was open when they were selling 610's and stuff

The full kit is RK88HL, That's what I would recommend. The DG5 will be just diaphragms.

Depending on where you get the rebuild kits they could contain mylar check valves or impregnated paper or both and enough gaskets to rebuild another carb .In addition some of the kits will do an HR .
HL's get a little confusing to me unlike the HS model which at least to me stay pretty much the same .
My assumption being if they do contain mylar it is because of ethanol .Older vintage kits that might have been 25 years old from my experience don't have the mylar option .
Some places you can just buy single components such as a diaphragm if that's all you need .

For those that don't know. Mr Bob Cornwell known as McBob has passed away.
He was very known in the vintage Mac's. Was a member on most saw sites and
Facebook.

Rest in peace Bob.

Can't like this. Rest In Peace McBob..
