I took a break from my 125 to tear into the SP81, a split recoil pulley was responsible for the "locked up" state I bought it in. A teardown and cleaning was in order, after some scrubbing and scraping all the carbon out of the muffler I was ready to do a p/v test, spark test, and then begin re-assembly! The pile of carbon in the one pic is about 1/4 inch tall, but somehow the spark screen wasn't even slightly plugged.

Sign of a real mechanic is when Band-Aid is as dirty as everything else.

I have no photos or videos to document it, but my Mc 101 and Mc 40 kart powered saws both ran over the weekend at the Badger Steam and Gas power show.

Thank you again to Luke and Parker for solving the carburetion issues on both saws. Hopefully someone there captured some photos and videos as my phone/camera battery ran down during the gear drive saws.

I had a visitor this week, some of you may have heard of Max the Mac Man.

We traded a few parts, conducted some technical sessions, Max recorded a video, rearranged some equipment in the display (to accommodate the Titan Blue Streak), and even had a few meals.

Max donated this large promotional banner and we put it up in hallway.

I was able to swing by Baraboo on my way back from picking a wood shaper up for dad. Didn't get but 15 minutes in the saw area as we had our daughter and it was hot out. Still was neat seeing a few saws run and the collections. Here's your video Mark.

Thanks for the video Scott. The 77 ran pretty well once I got it cleared out. Chris's 3100 was untouchable... In the interest of seeing some different saws, past winners were not eligible for awards.

Bobby Framke and his nephew Geoff demonstrated what a 1-10 could do with a little attention to details for the 60cc and under group.

They said I cut out with my PM55 but I think it was just so fast they couldn't see the cookies falling.

Past winners were not eligible for awards...and technically the PM800 should not be competing as a vintage saw; only saws in production in 1979 meet the criteria.

To make things fair for the over 5 in3 saws the SP125's run by themselves. Bobby Framke's 550 was not far behind the Husqvarna 2100. My phone battery died during the under 5 group so I didn't get any photos of the big saws or hot saws.
