I never go anywhere without protection, it is important to me to continue to do so. I have a NC CCW, i think my CT one lapsed. I had one for New York, issued in NYC but that expired years ago.

I want small towm life again

In my opinion Honesdale is small town.

I live in a valley just north of Altoona off of I-99, I've lived here alost all my life, born and raised.

Spent a few years living north of Gettysburg (Dillsburg) during the week for a job I once had, but ended up marrying a gal I went to school with and came back home. Other than the idiots running our state, it's a great place to live here in central PA. I live in a great small community, great school district, great family values, plenty of mountains and wildlife, but not urban at all. Cost of living is fairly cheap (other than the highest gasoline taxes in the country), I'll probably die here.

If I didn't have all my family here, I'd move to northern NH in a heartbeat. I fell in love with the White Mountains and would love to spend the rest of my days in them....

what year(s) did you live in Pickletown Scotty? I grew up there and now live just a few miles south of there.

There's a VA hospital, Walmart, TSC Lowe's etc. twenty minutes one direction from here and the county courthouse is twenty minutes the other direction. You can be in Binghamton in an hour. Guess I don't realize the convenience until something like this comes up.

Years ago I lived in Windsor, NY for a few months helping out a friend who inherited a house there. I vaguely remember the general area.

We're real close to the NY/PA border. Tioga Downs casino is nearby if you're into pissing away hard earned money.

It was between '95 and '97.......

I was a diesel mechanic for Ward Trucking, right off of Rt. 15 on Slate Hill Road in Camp Hill.

Well, looks like things are proceeding faster than I expected. We went under contract on our house in NC this afternoon. We have some time before committing to a place in PA as we plan on squatting with my SiL for a few months. Regardless, we will be making day trips to PA and look at places once we move out of here.

We will be squatting in CT for a few months to stockpile some loot and find a place to live in PA. I GREATLY appreciate the offer and look forward to meeting all my new PA neighbors.

This is true. But, with my hips and back being as screwed up as they are, a stop to stretch the legs will quickly turn into a “lay on the floor sucking down muscle relaxers and contemplating my own existence” overnight stop. With a geriatric German Shepard and 3 cats that might not be a wise decision.
