I recently found some stainless tube on Amazon and made my own. Reason being the adapter I got from Dave would work on my 395 buy not on a 2077.

    Just a thought.

Wayne, what tube did you get? I’ve been looking for the same thing, but can’t seem to find one that has the ideal ID and OD.

You got it. I bet it’s a little challenging cutting those little pieces. I have a pipe cutter for bigger stuff. Hoping it work for this as well.

What are you cutting it with? Seems like it would be a pita to get those narrow rings to turn out decent.

Giant tubing cutter. I'll heat it first, let it cool, insert a hard rod then have a go ;)
If that fails I'll cut it with a mini disc. Water jet would best. You need a sacrificial blank and collar to stop the air hardening if you saw on it. Just like drilling a bar. Get with it Wayne.

Wayne, here’s how I did it. That tubing is just perfect for this application. The spacers fit snug on the studs, but are easy to remove without tools, and they don’t really move when you install or remove the bar.
I clean the edges up with a stone on the Dremel.
Disregard the angle finder finder and protractor. Those were for a different project. Lol

Dang never thought of using a pipe cutter. Great info there.
My cuts were always fubarred using saw.

I have used square nuts to drill grind and make 9mm to 14mm. Thinned and rounded on ends for bar too.

That very tool is meant for aluminum bike parts, but didn't have any issues cutting through the stainless. I would assume any ole' cutter would do, just take your time.
