At the coil....ground to shorting lead
Inside the spark plug boot then at the connector tag on the coil, where the black short out wire clips on , I took it off for the test 20.40 ohms. Any confusion I can send a pic?

If it has good spark then the coil and flywheel are fine, maybe it slipped the key but I think there molded in the flywheel so I really doubt it.
If it was flooded then it probably still is.
Lot of time when you flood one it will kill the plug. It's also down a good bit on compression so that going to make it easier to flood and harder to start.

Plug is brandy new.....air filter new.

Spark looks weak though. I'll take a closer look one of these days. I'm not home right now...maybe tomorrow night if I get a few minutes after work I can do more diagnostics.

I see orange and yellow fire all the time and the saw knows no different.

I'm thinking it should be 170 or so on compression

Pull the plug and put the switch to stop and crank it over several times to make sure it is not flooded.
How does the spark arrestor look?

Pick it up and throw it into the woods as far as you can, then run out, pick it up, and throw it again.

Just let me know where you throw it ;)

Pop the flywheel off Matt, it's easy enough. I had this happen to me on a 262 and it drove me nuts. Had fuel, compression and spark-saw would eventually run a bit, but poorly.

Of course, pull the muffler and check the piston and spark screen. I think a step in time saves nine here Matty.

Flywheel is off...key not sheared

Spark screen clean and clear

Carb apart.... needle does not appear to be stuck....seems to function fine.

Turned saw upside down with the plug out and rotated the crank...definitely had extra fuel in there...
How much fuel?
Eye dropper , spoon ? Cup ?
You'd be surprised how little fuel in the case will screw up all your analysts .
Get it dry and force a few drops down the exhaust or plug hole and see what kind of combustion run you get now

All because you flooded it! Take the air filter off and pull the hell out of it fast!

I didn't flood it! wasn't me I swear hehe. This isn't my saw... just tryin to figure out what happened. I'm kinda interested in why the low compression at this point. temped to pull the cylinder and consider a new ring.
