I’m not 100% now that I think about it, it’s the same as a 193. I don’t think there is more than about 5 -6 parts different. Piston, cylinder, coil with the same number on it but a letter added to it might even swap at the loss of the scan port. Muffler was same number carb looks the same with the same throat opening ect. Might be a couple differences on the inside of the carb because it had different numbers on it but it looks the same outside.

Quick question way off this op topic

I'm digging into a 191T for myself soon. Never been inside one.
I know what is in there but does anyone know that saws weak points for failures?

Planning on jacking it up some to pull a 16 or 18" bar in oak and locust with lp square. It won't ever rev with that piston and setup....it could pull better.

Weak point was nobody liked the because of the weight and balance. Underpowered for 45 cc timing advance helped muffler helps. Intake is a restriction point and don’t know what’s in it for a reed never took that far down just rebuilt carb ect so motor out of housing. But didn’t pull reed block to see if anything will help. Way I understand it’s the same rod and crank as an ms 170 so was prone to failure when they went from 019-191.

I have plenty of 018's for donor parts and 192's.
That carb intake box deal is lamb. I planed on doing the reed with a stacked two pedal. Poor work for sure and timing adavance. 47cc

Is 017 and 018 the same stroke?

It’s unfortunate but I think it will be more than it’s worth if your trying to beat a modded 200t with the 191. I still may mess more and see what happens got the saw for the tree service of eBay as like new for 150$ now I know why. They used it once or twice and it sits so I’m sure I can take it and do whatever I want to it to make it usable

Well looks like the 019/191 used the same cranks as the 017/018 later models through the 170/180. I’m pretty sure the old 017/018 used smaller 8 mm wrist pin instead of 10mm. My info says the 191 has an updated limited coil so maybe an 019 coil will help out some too. Not sure how the rod that’s designed for 30-35cc will take the abuse of a modded 47cc top end.

Which is good because I don’t think I’ve seen any 193’s since spring. I told all the tree guys to change over to the 194’s even if they had 193’s left

If nobody has one maybe I’ll barrow a 194 from the tree service to let guys try at Kevin’s. I’m tempted to buy one of my own just for pruning apple trees and deer stands ext.

And as far as videos don’t know if it will ever happen YouTube seems like it’s being stupid now a-days and suspending accounts all the time ect. Would be nice it there was a way to load them directly her on the forum.

The 194t is stronger in stock and with opened muffler/timing added
Cool.
I ran @brad ruch 194 and it seemed to run well, just never had them side by side.

I still have a rear handled 193 or 2 can't remember, it's a great little saw when I don't want to trash the 200 rear handle.

I lost mine a while ago(this spring?) when they changed their algorithm or something, but they gave it back to me. I must be obeying properly because I still have it.
I like it, guess it's a 192 now that I see the title lol.
