Is the coil or dogleg delaminated?

That doesn't look that bad. I'd clean it up, mount it properly with washers, and see if it makes spark.

I would fit it as Jacob j said .
if you don’t like it because of the delaminating aspects. At least try it and see if your tuning & overrun problems can be sorted.
Anyhow, I find the coil part of a 2stroke very interesting. so I will be interested in your findings
