Happen to know the correct gap? ThanksTry cleaning the contacts up or just replace the points, be sure they're set at the correct gap, a new condenser is a must, then try again....
Just an uneducated guess, but the plug has more resistance than the tester. If that is the case it will need a stronger spark to fire.Im baffled as why it shows on the Stihl Zat spark tester to fire but when I put a plug in the boot and ground it wont fire through the plug?
What would cause that? Point gap, condensor, etc?Just an uneducated guess, but the plug has more resistance than the tester. If that is the case it will need a stronger spark to fire.

Ive already been pondering that idea!! Lol!! All that Id need then would be a ground to a kill switch?I don't have a clue if it will work or not but take a look at an 029 coil and see if it will bolt on. If it will and the flywheel will also throw the points in the trash. As I said I have no idea if it would work.
Thanks Jeremy but I already ordered oneI have a ROTARY brand Nova module if you want to eliminate the points.
