Runs good & is cleaner than average.
I rate this saw at 8 1/2 on a scale of 10.
Piston looks great & it has good compression.
I've replaced spark plug, fuel filter, fuel line, air filter, clean, flushed out fuel & oil tanks and ran a couple tanks of ethanol free fuel fuel & Stihl mix through it.
The original line & fuel filter were not in bad shape...previous owner said he used 50/50 premium and ethanol free fuel.
Comes with a 16 inch Stihl bar with relatively light use & Stihl RS 3/8 chisel chain.

Lol, she sure looks purdy tucked-away in her case up on the shelf with the rest of 'em... Lol

One day, I'll have to mark each of these saws so like in Basic Training when we had to mark our boots to make sure we rotated them each day, I'll be sure to not use the same saw twice in a row.

I should really pare down. I have a couple real good saws and the one Randy is chipping-away on for me will cover a lot of the other ones I have.

028 is a saw that's kinda been forgotten, what with everyone modding this and upsizing that, has really not been looked at seriously as just a good old workhorse firewood saw in too long. We've kinda forgotten about them, which is a shame.

Reg shouldn't have too much trouble selling this saw locally for a little more than what he's asking here. Compression numbers should help, kinda like the false sense of security we get when our blood pressure numbers are in good range...
