I've got a 5x5 Vermeer Rebel in the barn replacing some bearings and relacing the belts. When I towed it home I was blown away by just how damn heavy it is compared to my old Hesston baler.

The Vermeer's, from what I am told, are heavy. I would like to try one sometime.

Yes they do bake better. Those looked like a pleasure. I run a 640 new Holland with net

Swapped batteries with the TO-35 and the 165 fired right up and drove around the yard no problem. Has a pretty big drip from somewhere on the injector pump and the throttle linkage is loose as a goose, no big surprises there. And of course nothing electrical works. Still, for 53 years old and on the third generation of ownership I think she's doing good!

My 175 will not stay at any one height to bush hog with.

Any of you fellas know how to fix it?

Get a set of limiter chains. Easier than fixing it. Lol

I did that.

Cleaned it off and this is where the fuel is leaking. Perkins AD4_203 with CAV pump.

L3710, only 39 hp, but has skidded plenty of logs from my woods and handles all the rest of the farm chores I have asked of it.

39 is plenty. Weren't the old N series Fords rated at like 23 or something? In spite of that they are probably the biggest overachiever tractors ever.

I don't know your tech savy level, but I have an app on my phone called CamScanner. I can scan in several pages with my phone and they email as a PDF file, which is pretty slick for things like that when I just need to send someone a couple pages out of a manual or something.
