Yep a 6 speed swap would be nice. I looked quite awhile to find my manual truck. If it was a auto I would definitely be looking to swap. Soon as the power goes up the autos don't like it. Not interested in a $5,000 tranny lol. So far the biggest improvement on mine has been the Adrenaline hpop. That and efuel, but yours is stock with efuel.
Going to be close to 3k for my trans rebuild. I thought about just doing a BTS or JW but that extra 2k is to much right now.

It seems like y'all have a lot of that going on up there. I made my way through Whitehorse a few years ago to some fires and there's a lot of equipment tucked away in the brush up there.
Excellent climate for stuff to sit.
I have a 81 turbo trans am,the last summer i had it going it had sat for 10 years and fired up like it was running yesterday.

Ford F-250 2011

going to start deleting.

thinking of going with H&S for turner.

anyone have ideas on it. The GDP stuff is expensive!

H&S is out of business so take that into account.

DP tuner is who I used for all the 7.3s I ever messed with.
Alot of guys seem to be getting away from DP. Dont know why as I'm new to the diesel thing. On some of the forums there going as far as calling it a mass exodus from DP tunes. Maybe @p61 western knows more. He seems to know alot about the 7.3.

The platform they use is just old and outdated. That and pretty smoky which is frowned on now days lol. DP got a bad rap for a lot of smoke, and not much power. 1023 is making some great power with very little smoke. I still really like TW although a little smoky at times. Last time I got tunes from him it was a 1 day turnaround, and the tunes were perfect.

I haven’t used any 7.3 stuff since about 2005. DP was the best one I tried back then.

Ok, here goes. I had a civic back in the day when a filter and fart can made you "fast". Well the car had GSR swap, 60 trim, and s300 but I stuffed it in the ugliest 4 door civic I could find. Some friends and i were sitting at the local Sonic hanging out and this guy pulls in and wants to run the civic. We talk crap back and forth and head off to brickyard I put 3 or 4 cars on his truck and he follows me back and pretty much smokes out the whole parking lot. Good friend of mine says let's go get the escort which was his winter beater hes got an idea. We get the escort he stops at autozone grabs a T fitting 4 feet of vacuum line and a can of seafoam. He Ts off the main vacuum line runs the hose through the fire wall to the passenger side floorboard and hands me the seafoam. He tells me those guys are always sitting at Walmart let's return the favor. We go to Walmart thumb over the new line and he tells me when we get close I'm gona push in the clutch and lay it on the limiter you start dumping seafoam in that line and we will see how they like being stuck in a cloud. Was almost like they were in shock seeing this beat ass escort roll by on the rev limiter blowing a cloud of smoke for the ages.
