1.8 HP at 10.67 lbs won't exactly set the world on fire. Perhaps it makes decent torque? Maybe it has a small nitrous bottle hidden in the handle?

Being a 4 stroke, maybe it puts out 3.6hp for half the time of a 2 stroke. It could have a much longer power stroke via valve timing.

I'm saving the super charger for a different saw project... I've always wanted a diesel saw and I've read of a rumor of a Russian prototype from the 50s..

I'm thinking two stroke diesel like an old Detroit heavy but cool!

I'm thinking of it doesn't crank the rpm of a two stroke. Do a 3/8 050 chisel skip with an 8 or 9 tooth sprocket to get there chain up to an efficient speed.

I wish they made thin kerf 043 in full 3/8 not just low pro...

Anyone want to add? 3/8 or 404?
