Here’s a video of my friend Adam running a bow saw. I edited out the part where he was running it one handed while drinking a beer. That m’fer is crazy

Hate to say it, but that looks cumbersome.

that is not the right way to use that kind of a bow saw, it is meant to cut wood that is laying down by cutting straight down with a sharp chain and a large powerhead then roll the log slightly to finish all the cuts

he is using that like a christmas tree bar which are the narrow bars for cutting down christmas trees under the branches

I could have cut those in half the time with a normal saw with up cuts and safer too. IMHO. But cool old saw.
