Buy the whole full wrap kit and get the spikes with them. They’re the size they should put on them to begin with. The 5 point pro safety are too big for a 372. Ive tried them and you have to have a real light hand to use the bottom point.
As Dustin said the 572 kit comes with the wide cover and you won't have to mod anything to run them, it's a great deal if you don't need the wrap and want the wide cover.
Their huge lol, and yes you have to have a very light hand, but man are they nice when cutting a large root flared tree.

That’s true. I wasn’t thinking 572 since he may want the full wrap.

I ordered the wrap with spike set Mike mentioned above for 372. My brother will take the wrap handle for his 372 and I'll put the spikes on tbe 365. OEM for $28 for the kit..
Perfect. The 572 set big ones look cool too
.. . Worst case if we need more protection for the pipes we can get those. Wide clutch cover is cool too... Many choices! Thanks guys.

346XP back together and running after replacement of the intake boot, partition wall and clamp. Still needs to be fine dialed in and broken in.

You arent wrong, the massive pro safety dogs change the fulcrum of the saw too much and make it easy to stall with even a remotely good chain. Least they did on my ms460s, I left the stock small dogs on my 372s and the oem 3 point on my dolmar stayed as well.

I really like the 4 point pro safety spikes. They are out more at the top and give more clearance from the muffler to the wood to roll farther into a bucking cut before backing out and repositioning

Finally got to make some test cuts with the 365 Special today. Certainly didn't disappoint!
It is out as rich as it can be on the H needle limiter. I will trim it so I can richen just smidge to get some tanks through her for break in.
Very happy with the way the saw turned out and love the notes the bull horn muffler makes.
New spikes will be here next week and that should do it for this saw!

4426532A-9342-4656-B697-B282A0F8CFD4.png Same 28” bar, full comp chain and 7 pin sprocket on all. Wood was frozen hemlock scrap. The 572xp and 390xp are stock saws with mildly opened mufflers. They are good baseline saws... since we all know they are rated at 5.8 and 6.5 horsepower from the factory.

Some good running saws in there. 372 and 7900 are probably lb for on the best work saws for weight.
