I thought you might enjoy this i was asked to look at a new construction house to help with plumbing etc.
The wall studs were 2x4 at 20 inch centers the house is two story and the window and door headers are one single 2x4s a company was installing the big lr picture window 5x7 approx and while pushing the window in the end corner studs 6-8 ft away of the wall flexed and exposed 2-3 inches of day light
I noped out of that jobbie didn't want my name associated with it lol

20" oc =nothing fits, whoever built must have designed it based on the number of 2×4's that were in the home depot cull pile...

GT = Grass Trimmer = Curved Shaft = Right Hand Threads = need the Speed Feed 400 for a curved shaft. There are three different Speed Feed kits that I am aware of, the Universal 400 (comes with a multitude of adapters including the ones for right hand thread) the 400 for straight shaft only, and the 450 which is really only meant for brush cutters.

I've been doing residential work since I was 18, and I had references for the position I took. He called all of them, they all gave stellar references. I said "if I didn't know what I was doing and was a poor employee why would those nice folk (who do not benefit from giving me a good reference) tell you that you would be thick not to hire me? Trust me!"

I got the day off from the following thing I said to him which shall not be uttered lol
