I agree, which is why I said, better get a couple ordered.
Typically the saws I buy/sell/run are saws that the parts are available for, just easier that way, and I enjoy the fuel economy of the newer saws as well. I still run the 346 when I'm cutting firewood as it's such a pleasure to run, but the 550 is my 50cc saw of choice. I have a few 200T's, ms201cm rear handles, and a ported 241 for my smaller saws as well as a 540t.
I was unaware the 200's had a similar seal, but I don't work on many saws unless I have to.
there is some of Stihl's smaller string trimmer models who happen to use the same type seals as Husky 242 PTO has.
Husky 242 and 238 is probleby two of the most difficult saws to find new parts for, alot of NLA parts and the fight to bag them NLA parts is very hard.
I've hunted down and rebuilded 4 to a buddy of me, it's the only time I've let any 242 runners leave me :D
I also love those 550's as you do, but it's a model I do unvoid as a project or money maker, 346's and 357's is what I call safe saws.

Going to have to order up some of those pto seals for sure.
This isnt all of my 2 series, but it is an example of each one. 242XPG, 246XPG, 254XP, 262XP, 266XP.
My go to saw is usually the 242.

Are you referring to me running it left-handed (I'm ambidextrous), wearing the back-brace (I had my L5-S1 disc removed and the joint fused at the end of August and this was taken in Sept) or bent like that (I'm 6'2" and the bucking stand was short)?

Yes, it was uncomfortable, but even with a freshly fused joint, I had to play some as I ain't dead yet....
I'm 6'-5" and had My L4-5s1 fussed with a prosthetic spacer, Cage, 2 Rods, & 4 screws, and I can't imagine Running a saw One Month after surgery... "You" Da Man !!!!

Back off Wayne, I had the top of to get the carb set.
Should I keep you in mind if it ever decides to leave.
Here's a video of the 266, you see how bad I need those new cutting shoes right ;).

I got me a 266 jug and want to throw it on a 630 chassis.

Wait wouldn't that make it a 666:demon7:?
