My favorite 2-series? I just don't know, but here are my four. I haven't run them much yet, but of all of them I've run the 242 the most so far. They are all good at something, every one of them. View attachment 121472

These are very cool saws, I never really looked at them. I almost read this whole thread the last few days. I think a 262 would be my first choice if I were to get a 2 series followed by a 288.

And then BAM !! A 2101. Why stop at only two

I've had a good number out of the 2 series a couple summers ago when I wanted to learn about them. They are really cool saws even though I prefer the 3 series I wouldn't mind building a few more 2's back into the rotation. My very first 2 series was an unfired 288XP :b1:.
