if my eyes don't mislead me, looks like srcarr52 has done the (transfer caps) gap filler on that Redmax GZ4250.

danged eye trouble makes me hesitant to try to find a way to spend (frustratingly tight) money on 90 degree tooling.
"Monocular Diplopia" kinda sucks for welding and other sweeping hand tool manipulation.
That's why those cheap Chinese 90deg heads perked up my interest so much. not a big investment if i can't operate one anymore.

No filler, just the cap extension is nearly ground to an edge.

I got the 500i finished,

Raising the exhaust and transfers I ended up with 104, 125-128 flattened and slightly widened towards the intake size, and 83 on the intake which I made the roof a shallower angle.

I didn't have any large hard wood, so I took it into the woods and ripped a pine log longways and there's definitely an improvement in it. The saw was easily outpacing me, the saw didn't bog down just seemed to keep good power smoothly, where before it was more peaky and somewhat temperamental on the pressure applied.
