Having a go tonite. First time porting.. What speed should I run the drill at? And do I need to use coolant ?

I think you should sharpen the drill first.

A little Freeport never hurt anyone. Go for it Vince. I bet your work is repeatable to say the least.

Just don't ruin the plating with glass beading when you're done.

Just use a bigger drill bit to clean up the bore.

Use a uni bit or the tapered drill ...that way you have a variable diameter. .
