Have you ever tried antler as a chew toy instead of rawhides? Our dogs have really taken to the antler pieces and they last forever.
i wont give any kind of bone to her
i use to give maddie bones from her steaks but then she would throw them up and i didnt want her getting choked on something that hard
the raw hides will soften up

Careful with the rawhides, they can swallow large pieces and get a bowel obstruction. Look for hooves or tracheas as treats. We gave up on rawhide after a couple problems.

The antlers are different than any bones. They never splinter, break or cause any issues as other chew type can.

I told you decimals aren't communist.
Nope. But they do seem kind of a dumb thing to use in this measurement case.

You've got a foot. 12 inches. Those are both rational enough ways to rough measure things.

But.......

Some dik decided to decimalize it? So a part foot is now units of 1.2 inches?

No offense. But that's fukked.

When I was a young fella, I was working on a crew building a church. We were digging footings, and my boss was trying to figure out how many tenths of a foot 8" was so he could step the footing down with the grade. After watching him and his foreman scratch around on a notepad for ten minutes or so, I walked over, and measured 8" on the grade rod with my tape measure.....

He actually got upset, and called me a smart ass.

Relative to the situation. Makes sense for very big measurements, and very small measurements.

My dad is a civil engineer. He frequently has to help his guys find underground utilities. Those drawings use decimals- 323.7 yards, etc. On a large scale, 0.7 makes more sense than 25 and 3/16 inches.

Machinists use decimals all the time. Most machine work done in the US is done in thousandths of an inch. In addition to being a dik, @dall is a welder, ask him what size wire is in his MIG machine. He'll probably give you an answer in thousandths of an inch. Not fractions.

probably an engineer

Good morning folks. Decided to stoke the wood stove as it dropped to 20f over night where we're at. Looking for the afternoon to almost feel like springtime with it warming to 37f today and maybe another 10 degrees warmer for Thursday.

Almost forgot, have a great humpday folks.

Youns are making me want another dog. Years back has a Plot that thought he was part Chinese (lol) chomp flop next. He definitely strengthened the herd.

If JRTs are ruff on chippues, that's a possibility.
Antler chewies? Always learning on here lol. Are these metric antlers.
