That’s a D jug.
The factory 460 jugs are very much near the limit of being factory ported. They have a beautiful wide ports, and the intake is especially nice.
The 046 jugs have the odd intake port you are showing, smaller ports in general and tighter uppers. Contrary to popular belief, bigger isn’t always better when it comes to ports.
It’s not just the D chamber that matters, it’s the jug timing. The factory low Blowdown jugs are believed to run the best.
I prefer the Hemi chambered jug for builds. Keeps the compression down a bit more. The D adds about 10 psi.
Your jug looks very much usable. First, figure out what took the saw out the first time. Then rebuild with an OEM piston, but meteors are cheaper and run just fine.
Some jugs are nearly perfect squish with no base gasket. When it comes to 1128 jugs, like the Silver Eagle said above, roll the dice. It’s rare to find 2 alike.
