Looking for a cheap aftermarket Chinese? Piston and cylinder kit for 290/310/390??

Prefer a Cross performance 390 if possible. I bought a 290 kit few years ago for 15 bucks, should have bought more!!!!

No rush, I'm waiting for a deal of the day on them

They make a Pop up piston now for ms390! Cross is mfg.

I used to be able to get 039/390 Raisman kits. I still have 1 I am sure. If I was rebuilding one of those saws its not gonna stay a 029/290.

Just make sure you read which brand of AM cylinder the pop up fits. With squish tolerances all over the place, it will only work with oem and a couple AM cylinders

I believe when they were created it was tested for oem, cross, and meteor.

Maybe it will not work? I don’t know how good cross brand is. I am sure not as good as meteor or Stihl. But not many options for performance with clamshell design.

I have done 2 of them and my friend created the pop up for them. He states he has done 20-40 of them. No issues yet.

That is Good to hear! How much do they increase compression?

Not a crazy amount the hopes was to take it to 160ish
