What fresh hell is this and how do I eliminate it? I tried prying up to a point. Don't want to break a customers saw. Besides, anything small enough to get in there was weak enough to bend. And to really piss me off, they're spinning

Never saw anything like that before, and I'm glad about that! Thought the MS250 was tough, but I just filed it and used my razor knife and got it to move enough.

You need the Puller (M3 left-hand thread) part no.: 5910 890 4502. Line up the notch on the cap with the top of the carb and pull it out. (Screw puller about 5 turns counterclockwise in and pull.) For adjusting the H screw you need a 2mm hex screwdriver part no.: 5910 890 2306

As I see from your picture, you need the older version of the limiter cap (1141 121 2702) without guide slot to install after repair.
