I had often wondered if a person ground a little more on the flat if it wouldn't increase the oil a tad .never tried it .

I think the worst oilers were on little huskie trim saws like the 335 .The fix is usually a new shaft which is only about 8-9 bucks but you have to field strip the damned thing clear down to the bones .
