Yes.....the third weekend in October.

Friday is the 15th, and Saturday is the 16th if I'm not mistaken.

Good, I've got this Saturday and I'm being treated to the Vikings-Panthers game Sunday in Charlotte for my birthday. Add in that my parents have asked if I can go to the coast and bring their motorhome back that weekend and things are tight. I'm probably going to ask them to keep it there for another week and I can get it the following weekend.....just thinking out loud.

View attachment 308900I ride a grom. There will be no racing up and down the dragon. I just figure if I'm that close i might as well do it for the experience.

Coolest bike i saw there was a KTM 520 set up as a street legal super moto ride. Couldn't have got the smile off his face with a jackhammer.

I am a practiced problem solver. I'll come in Friday and set up. Cook pancakes and sausage Saturday morning and clean up. We can use the trailer for whatever at lunch and I'll finish packing it up. Leave late afternoon. Get up early Sunday and head to Charlotte. Yep, that's a plan.....for now.

I am a practiced problem solver. I'll come in Friday and set up. Cook pancakes and sausage Saturday morning and clean up. We can use the trailer for whatever at lunch and I'll finish packing it up. Leave late afternoon. Get up early Sunday and head to Charlotte. Yep, that's a plan.....for now.

The lack of camaraderie is why I am taking a head count.

These gtgs are a lot of work. I'm not putting that sort of effort into something that I have to beg folks to show up to.
