Looking for instructions on replacing the makita dcs 390 fuel line. from carb to in-tank. I cannot find info on this. Does not seem as straight forward as dropping line into tank. Cannot see the entrance to the tank.

Thank you for your expertise.

Thank you for the parts list idea.
It does not help me know how to connect those lines to the fuel tank.
I may have to toss due to old fuel lines. How sad.

Thank you for the parts list.

Throw away a Makita saw because the fuel line is bad?!

I have no experience with that specific model but it can't be any harder than any modern saw. Is there no one local that can help you?

If you are serious about throwing it away put it in a box and ship it to me!:)

I think your 390 is similar to a 340. Here's a long vid about changing fuel lines on a 340. Should give you some ideas.

If that doesn't help, remove the carb and post some pics. I bet we can walk you through it from there.

That was painful watching him tear apart the saw just for the fuel lines
