M362c not running due to rain?

I'm looking at a low priced MS362c that is not running because it was left in the rain.

Images of the piston from the exhaust don't show signs of scoring.

Seller confirms it was left in the rain (not submerged), has spark, fires, but does not start. Gas replaced, air filter dry.

What else could lead to it not running due to water - could it be an m-tronic issue?

You mean at the solenoid or at the control module end? Could the water have fried anything or are you just saying the circuit is not complete because of the water?

control is sealed. yeah water can make electronic do funky things. also did water get into engine? let the saw dry out for a few days and put spray/pour 2 stroke mix into plug hole install plug and see if she will start
