I didn’t know Al’s Saw Shop did port work. I bought a couple of chains from them a while back and they were really expensive.

I’ve heard that a couple times.

I don’t think there’s many guys that wanna dish out $750-800 for port work.
If it were a 250R.....that’d be a different story.

I don’t think guys are paying that much for 250r porting anymore..not when you can get an esr 350 kit for that much, if you are talking full motor build..that’s a different story...saw porting is different I know, but still, Paul turner national porting was about 750, so ya it can cost that, but unless you were class racing who would pay that, plus most decent builders could smoke there kit motors!

Does anybody know where his shop is? I’m about 100 miles from Eureka Ca, and I know in some of his videos he is cutting timber in Humboldt County...

Humboldt? Are sure he's there for the timber, or the 'weed's? I heard him say in a video at the wood yard he is in Oregon.

I used to live up in humboldt, he definately cuts timber there from all of the places he names and the look of it.

No one can answer that question except the builder. Definitely worth asking so you know what you're getting.
