I never thought that day would come.... No more 390xp, no more 395xp and no more 3120xp

New emission laws finally killed some of the best saws ever (at least in central europe). My dealer told me yesterday you can't order them anymore for 2019 (production stop?). If he has sold the last saws in stock, it is over....

Now people start a run for these saws here in central europe, they are near sold out!

It will be interesting to see what husqvarna will do in the future, for now, the 572xp is the biggest saw in there line up for 2019 (here in germany). Nothing is official about new saw's in the 80/90cc class. Only a completely re-designed 545/550xp (new case, bearings, crank, piston/cylinder, cover, filtration, muffler with 4.1hp/5.4kg) is announced. Stihl has the 462, the 500i and the 661 for 2019, a new 881/800i is in the making. The old 880 will also end 2019.

What about these saws in the us or canada for 2019? How is the situation?

This makes me sad, it was only a matter of time unfortunately. I haven’t heard anything official for the states but I think I remember @RIDE-RED 350r mentioning something about next years line being short a few saws.

Same here. My dealer has been saying it for a while. Matter of fact, I couldn't order a new 395 for the last couple of months.

Good news is the 390 dropped about 150 Eu over night in price. I may have to grab one if they start to get on short supply,

I think a 580 something should be possible with minor weight increase to challenge the 500i in power.

These are all saws that die out in 2019 in europe i know so far:

Husqvarna: 372xp xtorq, 576xp, 390xp, 395xp, 3120xp

Dolmar: 115, 9010

Solo: 665, 675, 681

Stihl: 880

Now begins the speculation on what top end they’re going to slap on the overbuilt 572 chassis. 581, 588??? Who knows.

I've been kicking that idea around in my head for a while now. Makes perfect sense that Husky plans on the 572 being a replacement for some of these models.

It's got the capability to run the same outer dogs and clutch cover as some previous models, plus so far it's only being offered in full wrap versus 3/4.

Big saw features on mid-saw level, leads me to believe they'll step up the P&C to a larger bore.

Somewhere in here I saw it mentioned that 395 were no longer being built in Sweden and are now being built in Brazil. I think it was Dustin that said it?? Also saw a couple posts on a FB group about 390 and 395 days being numbered

Anyhow, I had a feeling that was a bad sign. Glad I got my 390 and 394

When's the blu lighting 395 kit saw coming out?
Hopefully never... don’t need any 395 cloned crap on ebay. Just makes it harder to find genuine oem parts. However, I think it would be nice if meteor made a quality 394 cylinder kit as those are NLA. The only options are to convert one to 395 or hope you find a good used or NOS cylinder.

I agree. Just because Converting to a 395 cylinder isn’t just a bolt the cylinder on and go thing, gotta frig with the carb and everything. Still bolt on, just extra steps and expense.

THIS IS NOT mine. I would NOT buy a husky with a Brazil tag
