Greg's truck is now running, he will likely be heading back to SD, looks like I will be looking after grandsons this afternoon.

Met some new faces and names, ran some saws, ate good food, and got to hear quite a few all true stories too! I'd call it a good time, and Thanks to Mark and Ron and all who worked hard to put this on. Much appreciated!

From our forced alternate event up north, where all the problems started...remember that it was warm and sunny Friday afternoon.



After the problems had been resolved. Nathan (Wood Knot), Greg (Tallguy) hiding behind Nathan, Jen (Greg's wife holding the dog) my wife Teri caught in a photo, and Jim, Jen's cousin who came up from Cedar Rapids in case they couldn't get the truck running to help with alternative transportation home.



Not what we had in mind when the weekend started but sometime you just have to make the best of a bad situation. A special thanks to Nathan for bringing his manual and jumping in with the troubleshooting on Greg's truck and making a second trip to Cedar Falls for additional parts plus keeping the spirits high in spite of the problems.

Looking forward to a better GTG weekend next year.
