new 545/550/555/560 and 562 has also got Torx screws.
Husky updated them IPL's late 2017

Yes, and they've been working them in on other saws also. T-540's are all torx. Some items like the top cover screws for 372's have been changed. Can't even buy the old screws as the number supersedes up to the new torx screws. They didn't do this for guys like us or guys who only own one tool. It's more about getting more accurate torque specs during the manufacturing process. I think it's a good move.

Heard from my local dealer that they employed a guy for 4 years with his sole responsibility being designing and testing the cylinder/carb partition wall. Says he was told it will be used on the other 5 series saws as well.

That is what I heard also. And not 100% sure, but I think those items will retrofit earlier saws.
