I thought it's time for a suitable thread. I'm still waiting for a 572xp from a friendly dealer. Maybe it will work out over the next week (They are out of stock at the moment). Then of course I will go into way more detail with the saw ;)

But as a preview, here i have here some more detailed pic's from a buddy of mine, who recieved his 572xp yesterday

It looks like they learned something about the 56x design. The Fins look huge, distance between the muffler and the oil tank are bigger.

I'll keep you updated! If someone wants other or specific pic's of the saw let me know, my buddy can take some more, no problem (understandably, :D not of the saws innards like i will do later)

What's does the air filter gasket look like and feel like? Is it a snug fit?

Great Steph,

can’t wait to get more details and infos about the “legendary” battle.

No word about the plastic - it’s unbelievable.

Interesting to see what measures were taken to protect the carb from heat. Whether different design or heat shields or heat reflecting tape has been used to shield the carb. Heat was a major issue that plagued the 5 series. What's not to like about a new 5! It will get interesting when all the fasteners are removed so we can see inside. Husky is doing interesting stuff with their new bottom ends.
