Any good for firewood?

The janka hardness puts it above osage orange, right there with mesquite, so I assume it would be a very good firewood.

Huge growth rings too. I have never seen indian laurel, but your tree looks like indian laurel pictures online, even the leaves. But it is hard to tell from here, lol

With any larel species check for toxicity, dont want to go out burning something toxic.
