You may want to see if there is any ban and/or quarantine on importing acorns into your area. With EAB a number of them have been put in place. Actually your state forestry department may be able to help.

Are seedlings an option? These guys have treated me well in the past. Get in touch with them and they'll be able to tell you if there are any restrictions you might be facing. You'll have to wait till spring to get some, but I believe that acorns need to go through a winter before they become viable anyway.

Only red acorns whites are good to go. Dnr says I'm good to go. Will have to check on your link. Thanks

I have 5 gallons of white acorns in my freezer, and a gallon of shagbark hicory. I never had a chance to plant them this year. If you are interested let me no.

Think fridgerator some say freezing is bad and can kill it. I looked into it before some say yay some nay. I'll try it then we'll both know
