103/4 123/4 sounds like a pretty good place to start.
Yea I know. I hadn't cleaned it up yet. I noticed it had some broken fins on it, but when I pulled the muffler I noticed one bolt hole was cracked on the aluminum exhaust flange. Got a replacement coming from DDave.

On a 361 I put together I did the 3 gill muffler mod on the flywheel side of the muffler. The saw seemed to rev faster and higher after that.

I got the spare cylinder from Dave and snapped some pics.

I tried taking pics to show the area up inside one of the transfers on each side. There's not much room in there for airflow. I would imagine there's some epoxy on quite a few of these where builders have raised transfers and gone through to the outside of the jug.

I'll get some lines on the cylinder wall showing new port openings and report back.
