I’ve seen a lot with case cracks, but that’s anecdotal evidence at best. Some people hate the oil line.

Depends on who you talk to I've heard that the flywheel side of the crank shaft was prone to brake but I think that was more so with the 066 but even then I've never seen it happen in person there pretty darn tuff.

I love my Stihl 064 AV. Compression is so high that I need a brute to start it or a testosterone pill, but once it gets going, it's a beast:

Switch over to the Elastostart handle and that will help a little. At least it gives a bigger handle to grip on!

The oil line does suck! It's good the kit gives enough hose to do it twice!
