Ok in these few days I'm going to be working on my 064 that's getting a new rear tank assembly and just like to share with you guy's how it goes and how I feel about the new versus the old I haven't posted much of my own threads lately well because everyone else keeps posting up there own cool threads and I've just been to darn busy.lol so I realise it's a 064 but I'm hoping in the near future it's going to be sitting side by side with a 500i .lol I can dream.:pancarta:IMG_20190108_160106.jpg

Now in my opinion the new one fits like a glove and definitely is nicer than the old one lol I've noticed when I was putting it all together that in the week spots are a bit stronger than the original one so that's a plus to well worth the money I'm happy and saw is happy.:beer-toast1:

Does the 64 share the same crank case as the 66

I believe the first year was other than how the cylinder mounted but never had the pleasure of working on one that old. So if someone else could chime in on his questions feel free to.:beer-toast1:

I could be wrong because I am wrong a lot but the very early 066's did share the same crank and case as an 064. I think that it all changed when the 066's went to the bubble style top covers that the 660's had.

If I am wrong with that info please correct me! I don't like making an :asz:out of myself if I can help it.
