I bin using this for 5/6 years pretty much everyday. They are pretty good, not 'perfect' but do the job. 15796901770591213806044.jpgThey have those serrated caps that ratchet into position and you need to press a plastic tab to unlock them to back them out. The two fill hoses are different, one is telescopic and the other flexible. This is due to size restraints of the design. The caps are 3 piece and rely on the filler hose washer to get a tight seal.1579690637843-214342279.jpg main tanks section is 1-1/2Gal or 6-litres, small tank is 2-3/4quarts or 2.5-litres. As I said they are not awesome, but they have lasted well under daily use, they are compatible with with the bigger 20lt jerry cans (caps & hoses). In have another little 1 gal single tank one too. I have generally been impressed with Canadian made forestry gear in 'general', they don't produce junk from chaps to saw bars (Windsor products) etc.

I use a Tide laundry detergent jug for bar oil so I don’t dump my oil in a tractor.

Nice to hear I'm not the only wingnut using one. This one has a few trouble free years on it. Picked it up free at the recycle center. I still like Jill's jugs for fuel.

@Cut4fun
didn't some guy's complain of the spouts cracking around the threads?

Yeah if hamfisted they crack it seems. The local one is cracked and never knew it. Someone noticed it in a pic and I brought it to his attention.

Mine still good to go.

Local loggers pic. 1 at black base cracked but not leaking. Left side

Couple years old now and still no problems. Much easier to carry up 1 thing into the hills. Like being able to just store files, chain etc on and in it too.

If the spring starts sticking. 5min fix. Remove it.

I just had a customer ask about them. I never was interested in one.

In threads like this no spill Jill always gets a mention along with her demo.

The practical benefit of the Husky setup is that the fill hoses are fixed in place, so there is minimal stuffing round to refill fuel/oil. The Sceptor tank 'if' you want to pour from the fill hose you need to remove cap, take out hose thats stored in tank separate the three piece cap & assemble it then fill up. Unless you leave the hoses installed/setup like the husky but if the can falls over stuff runs out where the husky has a on/off nozzle. Having to pull out fill hoses & mess around means they can get contaminated with dirt which is no good as they are stored IN the fuel. I don't set them up just remove cap/hose and pour from tank.
