Mine responded better with more opening but could have been the saw just breaking in and adjusting itself also

What porting did you have done on your 562XP?
No need to split it. Just carve it out from both holes.
So far just a MM and a gasket delete but transfer raising, strato raise on the piston window and widening of the exhaust is coming

Yes I will be gutting, raising transfers, raising strato port window on piston and widening the exhaust

Good gains, not huge. 562 is the most impressive stock saw I've run & I've run most of em.
