Thanks, that was freehand. My Granberg just isn't gonna work. I kinda wish it would but I'll figure it out without.

The homelite410 vise has been a huge help.

I might grab a 108 model and try again or get the smaller type of file to try. Taking the guesswork out of the angles would be great for a beginner like me.

Definitely post the pics, if nothing else it will help someone else.

Lol. But one always must wonder. Lol
I broke one last year at Custer's gtg. The file corner had got enough through the strap that it just nicked the rivet. Sliced a dolmar chain catcher right off. Which is quite a feat since they're almost 1/4" thick. I was impressed lol
