I made chain just like that when I started square. It cuts but feeds like *s-word. It is hard to pull with a small saw. When you "hit that corner" right you will know it. Frees the chain right up. The rpm's climb and the chain self feeds. I might try this tooth on a chainsaw mill with a short bar and a big power head.
Should have added that would be a zero to five degree face plate angle. I'm told it finishes very smooth on a mill.

Never said I don't use them. Just not working on them if possible.
No..... Lol.... I meant using a saw, and stoning it with the blade running and a stone in your hands. Probably not an OSHA approved thing. Lol

Maybe it is safer than I think. Never even knew about this. Never seen it done.

I believe it's a 104a?? And yes double bevel.
I don't have any pictures handy, I will try to take some this week. Biggest thing is making sure you have the file mounted correctly. Then the angles are like 22-25 up down and 40-45 back to front.
If the depth gauge is in the way, you may to swap out or make a new tooth stop. All mine will go out far enough, but if you got an old one, I have seen them where that piece has broken over the years, making it shorter.
