That's what I'm talking about. I've used the disks and they don't have enough surface area against the cylinder wall. Those disks are thicker though.

Double them up until its tight

Due to your excellent info and videos I was able to clean the cylinder on my saw with some confidence that I knew what I was doing . I installed a HyWay piston and my saw is back from the dead!
