My darling daughter was the crosswalk to crosswalk Belt highway champ with her ‘63 convert.

Floor the foot feed and sidestep the clutch.

Lasted until the clutch disc exploded.

Dad was not happy.

So you are saying it needs a clutch?

Does anybody have one of these or a source for it? It's off a homelite classic 200 I'm told. The plastic ring wont stay snapped on to hold the bulb on.

There's a guy on Ebay that sells fresh ones. I've got several NOS that are rock hard.

I see I’ve gone past my ten am stopping point.

But I wanted to get this cleared out today.

Oh so kind neighbor complained to the city my derelict car w/flat tires sunk in the dirt violated the property ordinance.

We got the tires pumped up (45 each. [emoji6]) and the crap raked out from under it. Sprayed Roundup all over.

Now to get another couple yards of rock to cover the parking place.
Thats zactly why i wont live in town

We could make someone a good deal on a ‘63 Monza w/4 spd & ‘65 engine.

But, I want it to sit there maybe until fall to aggravate the ass hat.
Park it out front in front of his house on public right of way. Prolly need to ensure it will start before you do dat though

Any thoughts on what type of wood this is other than 1/2 punky. I just cut it to see if it was totally shot. Both trees have been down about 15 years.

I drug it out of a brush pile along with this oak

That was my line of thinking but what variety? There was a Shagbark in the pile but it was totally punky.

A buddy of mine that lives in rural Douglass County Kansas was told to clean up his "collection" after they used Google earth. BS I tell ya!

He just moved everything out of the open area and in to the woods

I don’t think it’s elm, if it was American Elm & down that long it would be like cutting a pancake & Slippery Elm generally has good longevity but doesn’t usually look like that on the end grains.

Morning midlanders!

Waiting for daylight. I got the weed wacker restrung and two gallons of fuel mixed.

Beat up on the yard until it gets too hot or finished edging.

Needles under the white pine need raked up. Those should be planted well away from the house. [emoji90][emoji57]

I'll take a stab....hickory
I don’t think Hickory would never make it 15 years in the elements. It would’ve been a pile of sawdust 10 years ago. Now a random stick of red home if off the ground, could have weathered that.
But I’m not sure what species are common in that area.
